The Segway i2 Personal Transporter (PT) is a versatile, gas-free transportation alternative. The i2 model can take you places that a car or bicycle can’t, including inside many stores, office buildings, businesses, airports, elevators and trains. Although they’re ideal for short jaunts, Segway PTs can travel as far as 24 miles/38 km on a single battery charge, depending on terrain, payload and riding style. To move forward or backward on the Segway PT, the rider just leans slightly forward or backward. To turn left or right, the rider simply moves the LeanSteer frame left or right. The wireless infokey controller allows for custom speed settings up to 12.5 mph, a built-in theft alarm, trip counter and other display features.
The Segway Personal Transporter is available from Amazon
for about $5500. (more…)

These new V-Moda Vibe earphones are raising eyebrows due to their classy all-metal design. But what about the sound? The manufacturer says the V-Moda Vibe has “vibrant bass, vivid mid-range, and vivacious highs” and most reviewers says that’s actually fairly accurate.
The earphones have a gold-plated jack, a lightweight, compact size and three sizes of ultra-soft silicone fittings for a secure and comfortable fit. They also come with a gold leather carry pouch and VIP card access to exclusive “V-MODA modcasts” (not sure what that could be).
Apparently the “ultra-soft silicon” fittings feels quite good it one’s ear, sliding easily into the ear canal. They come in chrome, gunmetal black, red and mocha colors. The one of most interest to Apple fans is surely the Red Roxx, colored to match the limited edition RED Special Edition iPod nano. The La Mocha color complements the Zune.
They are available from Amazon for $80.
